End Of Season Review
The football season in England ended today with the promotion playoff final to end. Time to make to get an overview of the changes in the four professional leagues.
It never will be paying attention to what is up in the Premier League . Chelsea has relatively superior and deserved the title from Man Utd retrieved during Burnley, Hull and Portsmouth must make their way into the Championship . From there turn Newcastle and West Brom back right after the descent, while a complete surprise Blackpool completes the riser. More on the flyer from the coast and its coach here.
Like last season, Norwich, Charlton and Southampton had to find another club in the Championship that a high Fanaufkommen and a past in the Premier League is not to say. Sheffield Wednesday rose last season game before 40,000 Viewers in the third league, the League One , from. They are joined by Plymouth and Peterborough , the four trainers worn. The other way to go Norwich (which started with a 1:7 home defeat of the season!), Leeds , which she finally finished, brought to escape at least the third division, and Millwall that yesterday in the playoff final at Wembley before 73,000 (!) spectators beat Swindon. Charlton and Southampton (but started with minus ten points in the season) missed the direct re-emergence.
"Down into League Two " means it Gillingham, Wycombe , Southend and Stockport , which finished the season with 25 points, after having had to go into insolvency (similar to Portsmouth). They are replaced by Notts County (yes, Eriksson Ex ..), Bournemouth (with the 32-year-old manager Eddie Howe, who had the team the year before saved from relegation due to financial problems and make no transfers allowed !), Rochdale (first rise since 1969!) and Dagenham & Redbridge , which today beat Rotherham at Wembley because of his name and some football romantics might not be unsympathetic.
from professional football operation divorce Grimsby and the financially troubled Darlington . Stevenage and the playoffs Oxford United return to the "Football League" back. After this brief overview is
the upcoming World Cup nothing in the way ... Start of the season in the Premier League is as usual in mid-August.
